Annual CFK fundraiser at Fifth Third Arena at U.C.

LOVELAND, OH (February 24, 2023) – The 11th annual CancerFree Kids (CFK) Night For the Fight fundraiser will take place tomorrow Saturday, February 25, in the Fifth Third Arena at U.C.

This special event draws high school kids from all around the Greater Cincinnati area. Previously, they’ve had more than 1,500 students participate helping to raise funds to help knock out childhood cancer. 

Here’s how CFK defines the event on their website: 

Night for the Fight, presented by TQL Foundation, is a unique, 12-hour overnight event that is planned by students, for students. High school students will come together at 5/3 Arena at the University of Cincinnati for a night filled with games, food, fun and inspiration to work toward one goal: knock out childhood cancer. This event not only raises much needed money for pediatric cancer research, it inspires the next generation to join the battle to eliminate childhood cancer.

It is CancerFree Kids’ 11th annual Night For The Fight

It takes place Saturday, February 25, 2023

WHO: More than 800 Greater Cincinnati high school students will come together with the goal of raising
$275,000 at CancerFree KIDS’ Night for the Fight, presented by TQL Foundation.

WHAT: Area high school students will enjoy an overnight celebration with games, food, and speakers sharing
their stories about battling childhood cancer. CancerFree KIDS hopes to raise a record-breaking
amount of money to fund high-risk, high-reward research initiatives at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Medical Center in Avondale and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

WHEN: Saturday, February 25 at 7 pm to Sunday, February 26 at 7 am;
(please note registration has ended and the overnight is closed to walk-in visitors).

WHERE: Fifth Third Arena, University of Cincinnati Campus 2700 (O’Varsity Way, Cincinnati, OH 45221)

WHY: CancerFree KIDS is pushing to raise $275,000 to support its ongoing work of funding innovative,
early-stage cancer research that aims to find cures for childhood cancers and gentler treatments.
