Board approved contract in a unanimous 5-0 yes vote during special meeting this afternoon, Friday, July 24, 2020

LOVELAND, OH (July 24, 2020) – The Loveland School Board voted 5-0 to approve a contract with LJB – a local engineering firm with expertise in Pandemic Preparedness.

The contract is for the amount of $66,250 to be funded 100-percent by the CARES Act – Federal Coronavirus Aid Relief. No money will come from LCSD budget, or local taxpayers.

The board approved the contract during a special meeting lasting just over 90 minutes and live-streamed to over 300 viewers. Most of those 90-plus minutes were spent in presentation of the proposed contract and thorough discussion and questions by all members of the BOE.
