Loveland Boys Bowling team won the ECC/SWOC tournament January 2

LOVELAND, OH (January 5, 2021)  – Joey Kapszukiewicz helped lead the way as the LHS Tigers boys bowling team took the ECC/SWOC tournament title January 2.

His 669 three-game series was followed by Alton French’s 603 series leading the Tigers to the tournament championship. Loveland defeated West Clermont in the finals at Northwest Lanes on Saturday to capture the championship. Congratulations to Coach Steve Adam’s and his team of  Brayden Shepard ‘21, Justin Dierling ‘21, Joey Kapszukiewicz ‘21, Alton French ‘22, Sherron Peacock ‘21, and Collin Mangan ‘22.

TIGERS KEEP WINNING ON THE LANES

Kapszukiewicz continued rolling up the high pin count with a two-game 443 leading the Tigers to victory over Anderson on Monday, January 4. His single game 226 was high for Loveland as they tallied a 2489 to 1810 pin win over Anderson.

Loveland Boys Bowling now stands third in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference with an overall record of 8-1 and conference record of 7-1, while first place West Clermont is undefeated at 6-0. (Note: Standings do not reflect their loss to Loveland in the finals of the ECC/SWOC tournament championship on Saturday) Lebanon stands second with a 4-0 conference record.
