Abby took time out to catch us up on her career here on Loveland Beacon Talks.

Abby shared fond memories of her formative years singing and dancing on stage here in Loveland including at the Loveland Stage Company Theater and on the stages of Loveland Middle School and Loveland High School in drama productions and with the Loveland Show Choirs. She credits Loveland teacher and long-time director of LHS Drama and still director of the Loveland Show Choirs, Shawn Miller with developing her talent and giving her the confidence to pursue a professional career in musical theater. Those are her roots along with huge credit to her family, faith and singing in church. Docherty shares the story of her first appearance on the Loveland Stage Company (LSC) stage and the first rejection – at 10 years old. It’s the beginning of a love affair with musical theater, song and dance. From Loveland, to Nashville, to Harlem and Off-Broadway, her stories take you along with her on an amazing journey with so much promise.
