LOVELAND, OH (September 10, 2024) – Bavaria comes to Loveland for the 4th Annual Loveland Oktoberfest this Friday & Saturday, September 13-14; 4-10 p.m.

It’s a community favorite and you won’t want to miss this taste of Germany right in the heart of Loveland. The fun begins at 4 p.m. on Friday with the opening of the Biergarten featuring Warsteiner beer and more. The Kid’s Zone offers unlimited play time featuring inflatable carnival games. Oh yes there will be live music (Aaron Dussing Band in the Gazebo and The Bergstrasse Boys on Stage) What would Oktoberfest be without the Stein Hoist competition?  Preliminary rounds happen from 7:30-8 pm (approximate) in local restaurants and bars. It is an absolute highlight of the weekend Oktoberfest in Loveland. Here’s a breakdown from the organizers: Little Miami River Chamber Alliance:

  • Biergarten featuring Warsteiner, DVD Brewing and Bad Tom Smith Brewing drink tips support CancerFree Kids.
  • Live Music: Featuring Oktoberfest’s latest hits!
  • Stein Hoist Competition: Test your strength and endurance in our Stein Hoist challenge.
  • Lederhosen Competition: Show off your traditional German attire.
  • Keg Tapping: Witness the ceremonial tapping of the keg.
  • German Food and Flair: Indulge in delicious German cuisine and experience true German culture.
  • Wiener Dog Race: A fan favorite! Calling all wiener dogs for a fun race on Saturday afternoon.

NOTE: Shuttles will be provided from area parking lots.

And the NEW THIS YEAR note from LMRCA: Try your luck on the new mechanical bull ride! Our local DVD Brewery & Bad Tom Smith’s Brewing on site with their delicious draft beers making a great addition to the infamous Warsteiner draft served every year. Servatii’s and Schmidt’s Sausage Truck are new and exciting additions to this year’s event!

5:00PM – Ceremonial Keg Procession and Keg Tapping: all welcome, line up at Hops and Berry Taproom

5:45PM-6:00PM – Stein Hoist Finals on Main Stage:  Winners from each business come stein to stein to claim Stein Hoist King!
