On this episode of Loveland Beacon Talks with Jill Brinck, the CFK executive director tells us all about where the money goes and how it impacts the future of pediatric cancer treatments and care.

This year the record-breaking $1.25 MILLION investment will fund 21 research grants at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus! The grants by CFK will help carry out their mission to find more gentle and more effective treatments for kids battling cancer. The 21 grants are divided into 18 “New Idea Awards” and 3 “Accelerator Awards” and are funding some of the most promising ideas in pediatric cancer research today.

While expressing gratitude to “each and every one” in the supportive CFK community for making this milestone funding of grants possible, CancerFree KIDS acknowledged it is only possible because of the “unwavering support” of that CFK community. They are more excited than ever to “witness the ongoing progress and exciting results” of their 2023 grant investment.
